From Dan Rickmers (of the “Mathematical” video recaps)
Yamino asked:
Since you asked for suggestions, maybe you could ask for donations to keep you afloat while job hunting and/or perhaps fund your next project, whatever it may be? I’d gladly promote it and donate to the cause. =) Also, what is your experience and skills in working with cartoons? Maybe some of my contacts will be useful to you. =)
Donations would be awesome, but there’s actually this short film I made a few months ago where you can donate anything you want and get the film as well as the soundtrack (which is really awesome and made by this chiptune artist Doctor Octoroc). It all goes to supporting me so even reblogging and getting the word out about the trailer is helpful, if not throwing a few dollars my way to watch the whole thing and/or help me stay afloat.

There’s a link. I wrote, directed and did special effects on that. It’s kind of a Lord of The Rings parody crossed with cheesy indie rom coms.
As far as working with cartoons, I can storyboard and have experience with Flash, though I’ve mainly been paid in the past to do audience development/engagement stuff like Mathematical that involves building and audience and interacting with them on a much larger scale than creators really have time for.
If you take Mathematical, the episode recaps I made and distributed ended up being MORE popular than the full episodes people put out, which was something I didn’t think would ever happen. Even so, my forte is creative work, so if you have something specific in mind (any of you), please don’t hesitate to ask!
I’m donating, and signal boosting! If any of my followers have any networks to forward his info to, that would be great.
Please reblog! =D (Preferably hit “reblog as text” so the full text is posted.)
